Born and raised in Los Angeles, Shawna attended Cal State University, Northridge, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Right out of school, Shawna moved to the west side and began working for a major motion picture studio where she publicized movies internationally and domestically, gaining valuable marketing experience. Shawna has been investing in Real Estate since 1999, became a Sherman Oaks resident in 2003 (after living in West LA for 8 years), and began her full-time Real Estate career by leasing and managing commercial property in Beverly Hills...BUT...her true passion had always been residential Real Estate. After 3 years in the commercial world, Shawna made the decision to devote all her time to helping people buy and sell their homes. "After closely watching the residential market for the past decade, I truly believe that Real Estate will continue to be the best way to achieve financial stability by attaining capital and increasing net worth.
